Caring For Your BumperBar

BumperBars can get dirty, fast. As the social gathering goes on, pours will inevitably get sloppy. Everything from liquor to mixers and garnish juices can turn your BumperBar into a sticky mess. You can fight the grunge and make your BumperBar look its best with this simple cleaning guide.

We recommend wiping with a damp cloth, either using soap and water or a natural based cleaning solution. Most standard cleaning solutions contain either an alcohol or ammonia base, which over an extended period of time, can eat through the finish of your BumperBar.

Whatever cleaner you choose, the basic steps of how to clean wood BumperBars are the same:

  • Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe the cleaner on the surface of the BumperBar.
  • Wipe the cleaner on the handle, latches and hinges.
  • Use a second slightly damp cloth to remove the cleaner from all surfaces.
  • Dry all surfaces thoroughly a clean towel.

Although your BumperBar will inevitably become distressed with use over time, following these steps can help get it back to looking great in no time. For your Top Shelf premium hardwood BumperBar, finish it off with a gentle wipe down of furniture polish to remove scuffs, shine and protect the surfaces of your BumperBar!

Red Wine Spills

Be sure to wipe red wine spills immediately, as they can stain the finish of your BumperBar.
