Hello Kickstarter Community and BumperBar Backers. As you already know, we started (opening the molds) mold production before our campaign ended, with the anticipation of 60 days to complete the molds to the point that we would have our first samples. This would have allowed us, if all the stars aligned, to receive our first round of BumperBars with enough time to get them out to our backers in time for the holidays. Unfortunately, that 60 days has come and gone. We have been notified from the manufacturer three times now of delays in mold production, and just received an update that our mold completion date is now 30 - 45 days from now. Unfortunately, these delays make it impossible to deliver any "Well" BumperBars before the holidays. In anticipation of this happening, we have already ordered and received BumperBar Gift Boxes that we will be sending to anyone who backed us with the intention of giving it as a gift for the holidays. The boxes contain 2 BumperBar Koozies, 2 BumperBar Stickers, and 2 BumperBar Coasters. We will be sending out surveys to our backers soon, that will allow me to get mailing address and recipients' information if applicable. We can then send out the gift boxes right away to whoever needs them. This is the best "solution" we could think of to bridge the gap between the holidays and actual delivery. I know we are not alone in the supply chain disappointments. This is creating big problems for just about everyone I know that sells anything. You can trust that we are doing everything we can to get these produced and delivered as soon as possible.
We thank you all for your patience and understanding. As we previously stated, if for any reason, at any time you decide you no longer want your BumperBar(s) we will refund your money. This delay is no exception. Just message me and we will take care of it.
On a brighter note, all of the BumperBar Accessories for the Standard and Deluxe models are either finished or in production. We should have no issues with any items that come with your BumperBar. All of these items will arrive well before the boxes are ready for them.
